Q:  How do I submit my business listing?

A:  Submitting your listing just takes a couple of minutes. You can choose your package and complete the fields required for that listing type.  Listings will be reviewed and approved within 48 hours.

Q:  How do I update my listing?

A:  You can update your listing by logging into your account.  Click on “My Listings”.  Your listings will be displayed and you can select edit. Updates to your listing will be approved within 48 hours.

Q:  Why is my image squished?

A:  The image boxes throughout the site are square.  The system will adjust your image to fit within the box.  We suggest that you crop your images square before uploading?

Q:  What image is used as my main image?

A:  The last image uploaded.

Q:  How can I upgrade my listing?

A: You can upgrade your listing by contacting us.  We will prorate the price based on your listing expiration date.  Your listing expiration date will stay the same.

Q:  How often will I be billed for my listing?

A:  Listings are valid for 1 year (or 365 days) from the date it is approved.  This is a subscription service and will require you to cancel the subscription if you would like to remove your listing.

Q:  How do I cancel my subscription?

A:  The subscription is managed via PayPal.  You will need to log into PayPal and find your transaction relating to the listing purchase.  PayPal gives you the option to cancel.

Q:  There seems to be two sections of Find it Handmade.  What’s that all about?

A:  Find it Handmade is a blog and a business directory.  They run separately on the same domain and are tied together.

Q:  How can I contribute to the blog?

A:  We love to have guest bloggers.  If you would like to submit a post you can do so here.

Q:  What do you look for when selecting blog posts?

A:  We look for quality posts relating to handmade.  The topics we consider are handmade finds, marketing tips, photography tips, general business tips, and tutorials.  Posts should also include quality photographs.  If a blog post is submitted that does not meet our requirements we may ask the contributor to make some adjustments.

Q:  I already have a log in for the directory, why do I need another one to contribute?

A:  Since the blog and directory are separate systems the blog will require you to have a separate account.

Q:  How is Find it Handmade related to Cafe Handmade?

A:  Cafe Handmade is the parent company for Find it Handmade.
